I am, originally from New York, began fishing at age six with his grandfather for flounder. "My grandfather taught me everything he knew. I owe it all to him", . As I grew my interests in other fish grew as well. I fished the north for bluefish, striper, sharks and tuna.I got my first boat at 17 -- an 18ft Bowrider. Throughout my life, I fished both the northern and southern parts of the eastern coast; Atlantic Beach to Montauk. I have also traveled to Puerto Rico, Costa Rica & the Bahamas to fish as well.
At age 19, Gary began traveling to Florida for fishing excursions. Each and every year he would take at least one trip to Florida, including the Keys. He also took an interest in fly-fishing around the same time he got his first boat. At age 33, Gary decided to make Florida his permanent home where he now fishes 2-3 times a week. He currently writes the Palm Beach/Jupiter fishing report for the Onlinefisherman.com and live in North Palm Beach. I am also ajn active member in the West Palm Beach Fishing Club.
